The Experience
Planning Your Session
Sessions take place at my commercial studio space located in Sun City, Arizona, right outside of Peoria. It is best to book your session at least 3 months prior to your due date. This is to ensure you are guaranteed a session with me. However, please contact me if you have not booked your session, as I may have a last minute opening.
The photos are best to be taken in the first 3 weeks after baby is born. If you are planning to circumcise your baby boy, the session will need to be before this or at least 5 days after the procedure.
The Newborn Session
The Newborn Session
You will find my studio to be a warm and calm environment for your new little addition. I follow baby's cues and make sure baby feels safe and comfortable. As a mom and postpartum nurse this is second nature to me.
The session typically takes about 2-3 hours and includes multiple setups as well as sibling and parent photos.
While the session is in progress, you are more than welcome to relax, take advantage of the complimentary snacks and beverages.
After Your Session
After your session we have your gallery viewing and order appointment. This is where you get to see all the images in a slideshow! You will get a hands-on look at the products we offer and discuss what options suit you and your family's needs. At this time you may choose what images you wanted edited and products you would like to purchase
THINGS TO KNOW
Newborn Sessions are custom to you with colors or if you want to incorporate something special.
Newborn sessions are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday mornings ONLY. They can last up to 3 hours

Gift Registry
We offer our expecting clients the option to add us to their gift registry.
How it works:
We give client cards and/or electronic photo for registry.
Your friends and family go to my site and click on the link below.
They choose the amount and get a certificate to give to you. (You bring these to your ordering appointment)
You get to use this toward any of your photos!!

How to choose the RIGHT
Newborn Photographer
I totally understand that budget plays a big part when selecting your photographer, but there are some important things to keep in mind as well.
This is a one time experience (per baby). You don't get a do-over with newborns. So doing this right the first time is incredibly important.
Safety is a HUGE factor with newborn photography. There are so many safety aspects behind posing newborns that the average person doesn't know. Knowing how to safely pose, and handle a newborn is so important, and professional newborn photographers can do just that. Look at their credentials..
Who did they train with? Are they CPR certified? Are they up to date on newborn safety?
Do you love the photographer's work? If you don't love their work, don't settle for them. We put a lot of time and effort into creating flawless, and timeless images for you. We want you to LOVE each and every image we create.
I was previously a postpartum nurse and worked with new parents and brand new babies. I am confident in my ability to soothe and expertly pose your newborn in ways that mimic the womb, as well as keep them comfortable for the creative poses you have grown to love. I am continually perfecting my craft, and keeping up with the industry standards. Your baby couldn't be in safer hands.
