Planning Your Maternity Photoshoot
The ideal time for a maternity photography session is between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy when your baby bump is beautifully round and you’re still feeling relatively comfortable. This window allows us to capture the glow and excitement of this special time while ensuring you feel at your best. Your partner and any additional children are welcome to join the session, as this is a cherished moment for the whole family. Selecting Your Maternity Photographs & Products
Around 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, we invite you to return to the studio or join a virtual appointment for your personalized portrait ordering consultation. This is one of the most exciting parts of the process, where you get to see all the beautiful moments we captured during your session. We’ll start with a stunning slideshow presentation of your photographs, allowing you to sit back, relax, and fully immerse yourself in reliving these precious memories.
During this consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with our collection of high-end photography products, from elegant framed prints and heirloom-quality albums to custom wall art that transforms your favorite images into timeless décor. Together, we’ll explore the various options available and discuss which products best suit your style, space, and family’s needs. Whether you’re envisioning a striking wall gallery for your home or a keepsake album to treasure for generations, this is the moment to design how you’ll enjoy and display your portraits. Our goal is to guide you through the process with ease and excitement, ensuring you leave with artwork that beautifully celebrates this special chapter of your life.
What type of Maternity Portrait Session Should you Choose?
Maternity Portrait Sessions can only be booked as a bundle with a Newborn Portrait Session or Baby Plan
OUTDOOR MATERNITY PORTRAIT SESSION
-Great for in the moment type of photos
-Breathtaking scenery
-Great for soon-to-be big siblings
-1 to 2 outfits are recommended for this
-Access to our client closet
-Hair and makeup referral (paid for separately)
Outdoor Portrait Sessions are held Thursday and Friday Evenings (for sunset)
Weekend photography sessions are available upon request and are limited to 3 weekend
days per month on a first-come, first-serve basis.
STUDIO MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT
-This is great for high glam or studio lifestyle portraits
-Perfect if you don't want to bear the heat of an outdoor photoshoot
-Includes 4-5 setups
-Access to our photography client closet
-Spouse and children included in pictures if desired
-Option for intimate photos
-Hair and makeup INCLUDED in the photoshoot
In studio maternity portrait sessions are held Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm
