How it works

Booking your Knoxville newborn photoshoot

We recommend booking your newborn session before that baby arrives. This way we can ensure a spot at our Knoxville studio. Best time would be during the second trimester. A newborn guide is sent over so you can start thinking about how you’d like to display your images.

Newborn photography sessions are best scheduled within the first three weeks after your baby arrives. During this short window, newborns are sleepier and easier to gently pose. Each session typically lasts about two hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing those precious early moments.

After your portrait session

After your newborn photography session is complete, we’ll set up a viewing appointment—either in person at our Knoxville studio or virtually, depending on your preference. During this meeting, you’ll get to see your full gallery and we’ll work together to decide how you’d like your newborn images displayed, whether in albums, wall art, or custom keepsakes

Questions about your Knoxville newborn Photo session

We prefer to do newborn photos in the first 3 weeks of baby’s arrival. This is a perfect time when baby is still so tiny and new. We capture all the details of your little one while they are still so fresh.

A newborn photo shoot gives you a bit of everything. We do some poses of baby wrapped, some photos in a cute outfit including different props and setups, naked baby shots, not to mention your first photos as a family.

Just bring yourselves and anything special you want to include (please make sure to send us a picture of what you are bringing ahead of time). Keeping your little one fed and well-rested before the session can help, but no pressure! We will also send over a newborn photography prep guide to help you prepare. Our relaxed environment is here to make everyone comfortable during your photoshoot. We’re all about capturing the magic of the moment!
